PH probe calibration

Testing continues ... heater and temperature and PH probe are prepared ..... testing will be carried out in the fermentaion vessel....

Back in the workshop, PH and teamperature probe connected and temperature in bucket is checked for a steady 25 degs foe a full 24 hour period... A fan is also connected and the water heated further to test the cooling functionality... All control is via a 6 way digital plug bar... The additional sockets will be used to control lighting via the built in timers. All testing completed successfully the next stage was to connect system into my reef... Further down the line I will be using dimmers to control T5 lighting and using the low voltage ports I will be looking to control 3 Tunze 6055 current pumps
GHL Profilux 3 upgrade.. January 2010

Bit of a daunting task, taking my trusted GHL and compleley changing out all key components was not to be taken lightly ... Days of studying th documentation and I ws finaly ready to give it a go. The picture on the right shows the new main board fitted along with front panel and interface cards ..
The picture to the left shows the old main processor / front panel removed ( right of picture) with the new unit powered uo and ready to go. It was not an easy process and I am very surprised that the manufacturer is happy to offer a warantee on such a risky process . I have a background in electronics and would not recomend
